The welcome Hotel Zoo Berlin's subtle entrance, between Hugo Boss and Apple stores, isn't so easy to spot, but once inside, there's no doubt where I am. Exposed brick walls flank the softly lit corridor, where four prowling leopards make up the pattern on the dark-green carpet designed by Diane von Furstenberg.
